IIRRH was set up by Dr.Kamini A. Rao with the aim of developing a strong medical infrastructure in the form of Medical Education, Research and Training. This is a Centre making available the most advanced and efficient medical facilities and training in the field of Assisted Reproduction, giving interested personnel, the opportunity to develop his/her own individual skills further and achieve success in this field.

The primary operating focus will be to provide basic and advanced training in Assisted Reproductive Technology. The purpose of this programme is to provide an avenue for both Scientists and Medicos to enter the field of "Reproductive Biology" and for those already familiar with this area, an opportunity to gain greater appreciation of the processes relevant to the manipulation of fertility. This Training Centre has been designed with the intention of giving candidates a thorough knowledge of ART, the current state-of-the-art in the treatment of male and female infertility, and a complete knowledge of the laboratory and clinical work involved in ART procedures.
