The International Institute for Training & Research in Reproductive Health (IIRRH),

affiliated to BACC, is a center focused on training candidates in infertility. The accent is on providing complete knowledge of the laboratory and clinical work involved in Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART). This is possible by the excellent infrastructure available at IIRRH in terms of equipment as well as a dedicated faculty. It does away with the need to travel abroad for training.

Courses on offer are in intrauterine insemination (IUI), In-vitro fertilization (IVF), embryology and transvaginal ultrasonography. The program includes didactic courses, live video demonstrations, hands-on training as well as work on animal models. Training at IIRRH will enable practitioners set up satellite infertility centers for which technical and scientific advice will be rendered by IIRRH.

• BACC is one of the three centers in India recognized by the National Board of Examinations to confer Fellowship in . Candidates are selected on a yearly basis through an all India entrance exam conducted by the National Board. This is open to post MD graduates in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The period of training is for two years.
  
  
• BACC has been conferred the status of ' Centre of Excellence" for training candidates in the following areas: o Intra uterine insemination

o In vitro fertilization
o Embryology
o Ultrasonography
o Cytogenetics

• BACC is one of the few centers selected for telemedicine, with the aim of sharing expertise with doctors all over the country, who are involved in reproductive medicine. ISDN: 2357535
